The Surprise Tennis Club celebrated a resounding victory at the USTA Central Arizona District Championships held on May 18-19, as all five of its competing teams clinched wins, securing their spots in the upcoming USTA Southwest Sectional Championships.
Surprise's "Glitz 'n Hammer" secured a commanding 3-0 victory over PTC JaquessBrock in the Mixed Doubles division, 18+ 7.0 final league playoff match.

Congratulations to the 18+ 6.0 Mixed Doubles Spring 2024 team for finishing a great USTA season undefeated at 8-0! The team, Racq Pacq, was captained by Angie Rabb and co-captained by Chris Heath. The team will advance to Sectionals, which is held September 27-29, 2024 in Tucson, Arizona.
With a close 5-3 record vs PTC Zimmer and CTC Medley, the Surprise Swingers 40+ 6.0 mixed doubles team secured the USTA spring league victory.
Congratulations to the 40+ 6.0 Mixed Doubles Team, "Surprise Swingers", captained by Brian Hannahs. With a stunning undefeated 8-0 record for the Fall 2023 USTA league season, the "Swingers" are the local fall winners!
