Surprise 18+ 7.0, Glitz ‘n Hammer, Wins Spring Season

Surprise’s “Glitz ‘n Hammer” secured a commanding 3-0 victory over PTC JaquessBrock in the Mixed Doubles division, 18+ 7.0 final league playoff match. Captained by Billy Steele and Kevin Bernal, the team advances to the District Championships at Paseo Racquet Center on May 19. Their next challenge: facing fall league winners, PTC Kinney for the ticket to the Sectional Championships this fall.

Surprise Tennis Club celebrates a remarkable achievement as all of their mixed doubles teams clinch victory in the spring 2024 league season across the 6.0 and 7.0 divisions, in both 18+ and 40+ categories.
