Surprise Tennis Club Teams Shine at Section Championships

This past August 9-11, the Surprise Tennis Club Men’s 18+ 3.5 team, captained by Keith Buikema and Chris Heath, and Women’s 18+ 3.0 team, captained by Nicole Heath and Moyra Steele, represented us proudly at the USTA League Section Championships in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

The Men’s 18+ 3.5 team finished in a close second place, losing the top spot by just one match tiebreaker. Their teamwork and determination were truly impressive!

The Women’s 18+ 3.0 team secured third place, notably defeating all other Arizona teams.

Both teams made our community proud, and we can’t wait to see what they accomplish next!
